Donny Osmond and Weird Al make a great team.

I am a big Weird Al fan so I have been waiting for his new album to arrive. It will be here on September 26th. Anywho, one of the songs included is "White and Nerdy", a parody of Chamillionaire's "Ridin' Dirty" (a song I hadn't really heard). Al released a video of the song and guess who's in it. You guessed it, Donny Osmond. He's dancing around like a complete idiot. I was laughing so hard. Very funny. Check it out.

Watch the Video here. You have to scroll down a little. Here is a link to a section in wikipedia about the song.

Long live Weird Al.

This was really funny. Except for him being a guy and me not, that video was the story of my life. Down to the details.

Donny Osmond dancing in front of Schrodinger's equation. Now I've seen everything.

I love Donny Osmond. That song he sings about, dang, I can't remember it, but it's a great song. It's going to bother me all day till I remember it. Marie bothers me.

Weird Al, I am not familiar with.

annebg, perhaps you are thinking "Soldier of love"? I like the one he does "Mary did know?".

Also, you should listen to more Al, it's good for the soul.

I meant "Mary did you know".

So nice to find a fellow Al fan. Did he email you the link to his video? :) I saw it on VH-1 this week - yay! Going to buy the CD tomorrow!

I can't believe annegb has never heard of Weird Al. Everyone could use a little Al in their lives.

Yes, Al fans are few and far between. People don't realize that you don't have to be a total geek (not that i'm not a total geek) to be a fan of Al.

I bought the album on the release date. It's a dual disk. One side has some music videos on it, and I would suggest not watching the "close but no cigar" video with the kids. It's slightly inappropriate if you ask me. One thing I like about Al is that most of his stuff is family friendly. There is still the occasional borderline inappropriate song. The Polka this time around has some songs in it that are kinda dirty, but only an adult would realize it. My son has been singing one such line. I hope people don't think I let my kids listen to that kind of music when they hear my kids singing that line. lol.
